Deep healing therapy for parents focuses on addressing the emotional and relational challenges within the context of parenthood. Deep healing for parents, means we don't just talk about the parenting tools and the needs of your child. It's a reflective process. As a parent, you deserve a space to gain a sense of safety, stability, and a renewed connection with yourself and your family. You can learn tools to manage and overcome your emotional reactions to be the parent you want to be.

Therapy for Parents involves exploring a few key components:

  1. Your own childhood experiences, belief systems, and emotional responses. 

  2. Examining attachment patterns and bonding experiences.

  3. Prioritizing self-care and addressing stressors to find balance in personal and family life.

  4. Integrating mindfulness and identifying ways to help you stay present in the moment in order to respond to your kids with greater awareness and attunement.

  5. Exploring generational patterns and family history influencing your parenting style allowing for intentional choices and breaking cycles if needed.

Overall, my approach comes from a place of compassion: believing that you are doing the very best that you can. In fact I truly believe that your brain has learned and believes this is the safest way to navigate your current experiences considering everything you have been through! Diving into therapy and truly healing yourself as a parents is just the first step. I can help you rewire and heal your brain so that you can be the parent that you want to be. And no matter how hard it gets, I will be there with you along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is your fee? *Fees are subject to increase every year* Assessment (60 minutes): $140 Individual Psychotherapy (55 min): $140

Do you accept insurance? Yes, I currently accept all major commercial health plans and all Major LA County and San Bernardino County Medi-Cal plans.

Do you write any letters? I do NOT write any letter for: Court Evaluations Emotional Support Animal Letters (ESA) Separation, Divorce and Child Custody Evaluation and Mediation. These services require additional training that I do not have.

What is your availability? I currently only offer telehealth therapy appointments Monday-Friday 7 AM - 12:30 PM.

Do you have a cancellation policy? Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime with advance notice so that your slot can be offered to another client. I DO NOT charge a late cancellation fee because I understand that life happens. I DO charge a No Show Fee of $100 to respect the time I set aside for you.
