ONLINE THERAPY FOR PARENTS IN THE INLAND EMPIRE AND ALL OVER CALIFORNIA
Are You Tired Of Trying Every Parenting Tool And Still Not Feeling Good Enough?
You want to parent differently than you were parented.
You may find yourself reacting in ways that don't reflect the parent you want to be, becoming overwhelmed, shutting down, losing patience, or carrying guilt long after difficult moments with your child.
Perhaps you've read the books, listened to the podcasts, and learned the parenting strategies.
Yet in stressful moments, it can feel like your nervous system takes over before you have a chance to use any of the tools.
Parenting doesn't just activate our children, it often activates our own histories, attachment patterns, and unresolved emotional wounds. In those moments, many parents find themselves responding from protection rather than connection.
You don't have to navigate that alone. Over time, these patterns can begin affecting your confidence, relationships, and ability to be the parent you want to be.
You may be noticing:
• Feeling guilty after interactions with your children and replaying them long afterward
• Reacting more strongly than you intend during moments of stress or overwhelm
• Struggling to stay patient, present, or emotionally regulated
• Feeling responsible for getting parenting "right" all the time
• Worrying that you'll repeat patterns from your own childhood
Therapy for Parents Can Help.
It may feel like you've tried it all already. Hear me out.
Parenting therapy isn't just about learning new parenting tools. It's about understanding the emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that influence how you respond to your children. Together, we'll create space to strengthen emotional regulation, build self-trust, and help you become the parent you want to be.
And I can help you get there.
In our work together, we may explore:
-
Your own childhood experiences and the messages you learned about emotions, relationships, and parenting.
-
Attachment patterns that continue to influence how you connect with yourself and your children.
-
Emotional triggers that make it difficult to respond the way you'd like during stressful moments.
-
Generational patterns you want to keep, change, or heal.
-
Ways to strengthen self-compassion, emotional regulation, and confidence in your parenting.
My approach to parenting therapy is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Together, we'll explore not only what's happening with your child, but also the emotional experiences, relational patterns, and nervous system responses being activated within you.
Parenting isn't about becoming perfect. It's about developing greater awareness, flexibility, and self-trust so you can respond in ways that feel more aligned with the parent you want to be.
And no matter how hard it gets, I'll be there with you along the way.
