ONLINE THERAPY FOR PARENTS IN THE INLAND EMPIRE AND ALL OVER CALIFORNIA
Are You Tired Of Trying Every Parenting Tool And Still Not Feeling Good Enough?
You're tired of reading all the books, listening to every podcast or hearing everyone including family members tell you how to do it "best". You are also recognizing that the role of being a parent is bringing up lots of stressors, triggers and unresolved issues that are impacting your well-being and your family dynamics. You feel like there isn't enough time to navigate all the significant identities and roles you have in your life. Or you already know what to do but in the moment of chaos, your nervous system responds like if YOU were in danger. Seriously, the brain works that way! Overall, it all feels so unknown because generations change... the science is also always developing.. Ultimately, you want your kids to grow up emotionally secure even though you were probably parented WAAAY differently than how you want to parent them!
Therapy for Parents Can Help.
It may feel like you've tried it all already. Hear me out.
Deep healing therapy for parents focuses on addressing the emotional and relational challenges within the context of parenthood. Deep healing for parents, means we don't just talk about the parenting tools and the needs of your child. It's a reflective process. As a parent, you deserve a space to gain a sense of safety, stability, and a renewed connection with yourself and your family. You can learn tools to manage and overcome your emotional reactions to be the parent you want to be.
And I can help you get there.
Therapy for Parents involves exploring a few key components:
Your own childhood experiences, belief systems, and emotional responses.
Examining attachment patterns and bonding experiences.
Prioritizing self-care and addressing stressors to find balance in personal and family life.
Integrating mindfulness and identifying ways to help you stay present in the moment in order to respond to your kids with greater awareness and attunement.
Exploring generational patterns and family history influencing your parenting style allowing for intentional choices and breaking cycles if needed.
I'll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to providing Therapy to Parents comes from years of learning from my mentor Robyn Gobbel. And one of the mantras she teaches that I truly believe to my core is: Regulated Connected Parents Who Feel Safe Parent The Way They Want To. (Click here to read Robyn Gobbel's manifesto). Overall, my approach comes from a place of compassion: believing that you are doing the very best that you can. In fact I truly believe that your brain has learned and believes this is the safest way to navigate your current experiences considering everything you have been through! Diving into therapy and truly healing yourself as a parents is just the first step. I can help you rewire and heal your brain so that you can be the parent that you want to be. And no matter how hard it gets, I will be there with you along the way.
